It's an adventure in history, plus so much more!

Acadian Soldier and BoyCharlottetown is best known as "The Birthplace of Confederation" and the home of "Anne of Green Gables – the Musical™".

As the provincial capital, Charlottetown offers a wide range of services and amenities that are easily accessible and top notch. Golf is within the city limits and pristine beaches are a short 20 minute drive. Charlottetown’s central location allows you to enjoy all that Prince Edward Island has to offer.

With a population of just over 35,000, Charlottetown has the ambiance of a small town rich in history. The Victorian era is still evident today in our architecture, preserved homes and heritage streetscapes.

As the largest city on the Island, we offer a variety of accommodations, a wide selection of restaurants, seafood galore, entertainment and nightlife, boutique shopping and outdoor activities.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the year of incorporation for The City of Charlottetown. Festivities and celebrations will be taking place all year long to commemorate this important date in our history.

Come be part of our story….
