NFL Ferries Adds Additional Sailing

Northumberland Ferries Ltd. is adding an additional sailing from September 1st to 13th in anticipation of a strong fall tourist season.  The extra trip of the MV Confederation will be the 1630 or 4:30pm crossing leaving Wood Islands, Prince Edward Island and the 1830 or 6:30pm crossing leaving Caribou, Nova Scotia.

If passengers desire a specific sailing as part of their travel plans, NFL Ferries recommends making a reservation online at www.peiferry.com  or call toll free 1-888-249-7245.

Don Cormier, Vice President of NFL Ferries Ltd. is pleased with the current tourism season saying, “We had a good July and early August and anticipate a strong fall.  As a result we have made the decision to add an additional sailing to our schedule for the September 1st to September 13th time period.  NFL Ferries will be monitoring traffic week by week to decide on an additional sailings during the September 14th to October 13th schedule.”

Caribou- 0830, 1030,1230,1430,1630, 1830, 2000
Sept 14- Oct 13 (Trip could be added if traffic demands. This will be monitored week by week)
