Although TIAPEI represents many full memberships in Eastern PEI, the additional affiliated membership base gives TIAPEI the prospect to communicate with more tourism operators and allows for enhanced representation. Tourism on PEI is all about partnerships and this agreement is an example of industry working with industry to provide various benefits, plus a great PEI tourism product to our visitors.

Under this affiliated agreement, members of Island East receive access to all provincial and national newsletter publications, enews distributions plus select TIAPEI membership benefits. 

Although Island East has a seat on the Board of Directors of TIAPEI, this additional affiliation gives Island East members a direct opportunity to be plugged into issues, up to date information, and participate with the larger group in moving the tourism industry forward

This is a positive step for the Tourism Industry Association of PEI and Island East Tourism Group Inc. to serving the members, operators and the tourism industry of PEI in keeping it vibrant.
