The Tourism Industry Association of PEI (TIAPEI) in partnership with the Prince Edward Island Department of Innovation and Advanced Learning are planning to offer the "Passport to Employment through Tourism Programs" in 2013.  Dates and locations are yet to be determined.

These programs prepare participants for positions in the tourism industry.

The Island wide six-week program was developed to give employment training to individuals aged 55-64 looking to re-enter the workforce. TIAPEI's goal is to provide the tourism operator with accomplished mature workers ready to put their experience, knowledge and skills to work in the tourism labour market

Hire a mature worker, they are hardworking and have excellent work ethic, it's a win win situation!
