Annual Tourism Job Fair at Delta Prince Edward on Saturday, March 11th
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island – The Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI) will be hosting the annual Tourism Job Fair on Saturday March 11th, 2017 at the Delta Prince Edward from 10-3pm.
The Tourism Job Fair has proven to be an event that is beneficial to both the employers and job seekers alike. It is an excellent opportunity for all employers working in the Tourism Industry to recruit, interview, and potentially hire new employees all in one convenient location.
Job seekers who are interested in the tourism industry can meet with employers representing businesses all hiring in one location. Last year employers were looking to fill over 600 positions.
The goal of the Tourism Job Fair is to provide job seekers, students, employers, training institutions and government agencies a central location to network. The Tourism Job Fair will be most effective for businesses that are currently recruiting, expecting to recruit in the near future, or those wanting to promote their services to job seekers.
Kevin Mouflier, TIAPEI CEO says, “This event is open to all ages, skill levels, abilities and educational backgrounds of people that have a desire to work in the tourism sector or explore the opportunities our industry has to offer.”
Mary Lou MacFarlane, Human Resource Manager of Rodd Hotels & Resorts always attends adding, “We participate in the Tourism Job Fair every year. It is one of the best ways, we find, to connect with jobseekers interested in working in the Tourism industry. We do most of our major recruiting there.”
The deadline to book a booth is February 28th, 2017 to be included in all advertising materials.
