CBMF 2021 Update
April 20, 2021
(Charlottetown) Organizers of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell released the following statement today.
“After considering all possible options for this year’s festival, in accordance with public health officials, the Province of Prince Edward Island and the uncertainty surrounding border closures, we are saddened to share that the Cavendish Beach Music Festival presented by Bell will be cancelled for July 9th-11th, 2021. We want to thank our fans for their patience, loyalty, and trust as we operate in these challenging times” said Jeff Squires, President of Whitecap Entertainment.
Ticket buyers who chose to keep their 2020 tickets for the 2021 festival will be issued a full refund beginning June 1st, 2021. They are asking ticket holders to please allow up to two weeks for processing time and for refunds to appear on bank statements.
Added Squires, “As much as we had hoped to bring the full CBMF experience to Cavendish this summer, we are working on a modified event for later in the summer when we hope to welcome fans to the beach for a fun and safe event. We would like to extend our gratitude to all frontline employees for their continued dedication and hard work over the past 13 months. Our best wishes remain with you and your families as we continue to navigate through the challenges of the COVID pandemic. We will be in touch with more details on future events, and in the meantime be kind, stay safe and continue supporting our artists!”
