TIAPEI is currently seeking proposals for the development and delivery of Photography Training for Tourism Operators across Prince Edward Island as part of an introduction to photography. Tourism operators across Prince Edward Island vary in size, sector and their knowledge and understanding of Photography and the role it plays in their business. TIAPEI is looking to offer operators sector-specific workshops on basic Photography. These workshops will be delivered in-person and will follow all public health guidelines. The primary objective of the project is to give the operators tips, tricks, and tools to help them take better photographs for their business social media platforms using the photography equipment they have readily available (cell phone).

The Tourism Industry Association of PEI (TIAPEI), on behalf of the tourism industry across Atlantic Canada, is creating a list of qualified tourism consultants to deliver destination development and operator readiness programs in the region. Tourism Specialists on this standing offer will be able to deliver STAR (Strategic Tourism For Areas and Regions), STEP (Strategic Tourism Expansion Program), DMR (Destination Market Readiness) and AMR (Accelerated Market Readiness) programs in Atlantic Canada. Stakeholders in the industry looking to develop a STAR, STEP, DMR or AMR program will use the standing offer list to select consultants to deliver these programs in Atlantic Canada.
Consultants will be required to indicate which programs they believe they are qualified to deliver and why, based on the eligibility criteria detailed and program information in the document below. All applications for the 2021-2022 list must be received no later than midnight on May 3, 2021. After this time applications will remain closed until April of 2022. An information session on each of the four destination development programs is scheduled for Monday, April 26th from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. Please register below.
